ABOUT

Jeff Jaworski.

Founder, The Shift Coaching & Consulting. Author of The Leader Shift™.

For 20+ years, I've sat on every side of the sales table. Today I help leaders, teams, and the organizations that build them make the shifts that transform their impact.

READ MY STORY

The story.

I started in agency leadership, eventually managing 9-figure portfolios across some of the largest brands and platforms in the world. That's where I learned how to operate under pressure, build teams that delivered, and partner with senior leaders making real decisions about real money.

Then I joined Google. I started as a frontline seller, became a sales leader, and eventually built what became my dream role from the ground up: Google's award-winning global sales coaching program. What began as an idea became a movement that reached thousands of sales managers and teams around the world. The stories, feedback, and wins were coming in on a near-daily basis. The results exceeded even my wildest dreams.

And when it was fully built and thriving, it didn't feel like the end. It felt like the beginning of something much bigger.

Making the shift.

The idea of leaving had started quietly, then got louder. By the end, it was the same two words walking out of the office to catch the train home most nights: it's time.

The decision came at a coaching conference. The opening prompt was a single question: what is your intention? I wrote in my notepad: to make a fucking decision. So I flipped to the back, drew a line down the middle, and started a to shift / not to shift list. By the time the conference closed, I had my answer.

It was time to make the shift.

I wrote my departure letter on the flight home. Seven weeks of notice later, on July 7th, 2023, I turned in my badge, hopped in my Jeep, popped the top open on a warm, sunny summer day, and drove away from the role I'd spent a career building.

In true Google fashion: I was uncomfortably excited.

I left to commit fully to this work and the purpose it serves: a coaching, advisory, and facilitation practice grounded in everything I'd learned, focused on the leaders who needed it most.

I left to start The Shift Coaching & Consulting.

The work today.

Today I help sales and revenue leaders, their teams, and the organizations that develop them. The work shows up four ways:

The point of view.

Most leadership development is built on the premise that better leaders learn better frameworks. I think the truth is more demanding. The leaders who actually grow are the ones who change how they show up under pressure. Not what they say in calm moments, but what they default to when the stakes are real and time is short. That's the only thing that scales.

Selected proof.

A condensed version. The full picture lives across the work itself.

  • Built and scaled Google's award-winning global sales coaching program from concept to thousands of managers and teams worldwide.
  • 20+ years of leadership experience across agency, frontline sales, sales leadership, and global enablement.
  • Led 9-figure portfolios with senior leaders at the largest brands and platforms in the world.
  • 5,000+ coaching sessions across regions, segments, and growth stages.
  • Member of Google's external expert faculty and the Hudson Institute of Coaching, where I built the Spot Coaching for Sales program.
  • Author of The Leader Shift™ (Fall 2026), the first book in a four-book series.

What I'm building.

The Leader Shift™ is the first book in a four-book series. The Sales Shift™, The Enable Shift™, and The Career Shift™ will follow over the coming years.

Beyond the books, the Leader Shift™ System is the organizational implementation: a complete coaching curriculum, a 90-day manager cohort program, the leadership archetype assessment, facilitation materials, and a certified delivery model. Built so the methodology can scale across organizations and live in the hands of the leaders doing the work.

The personal side.

I live in the Chicago area with my wife Jessica, our three boys (Cole, Reid, and Trip), and our chocolate lab Scout. Most weekends I'm at a basketball court, a baseball field, or somewhere outside trying to keep up with the people who keep my world honest.

The work I do today is the culmination of everything I've learned across every side of the sales table, and what I've come to believe about how leaders actually grow.
